Books.. Books.. Books!!!!

This was given to me by Dean together with the Bob Ong book. I actually picked the book I wanted and he paid for it.(Youuuu are suuuuch a great friend.. hehe)

South of the Border, West of the Sun is the first Murakami novel I have read. His way of starting the story is so unique and enthralling. His way of writing is like eating Pringles.. "once you pop, you can't stop" or in this case.. once you flip the pages.. you just can't put this good book down. There is a certain magnet that is pulling the readers to his story. Maybe because of the complexity and the unbelievably realistic story he had written. I am certainly hooked to his heartbreaking prose.

This is definitely an enjoyable and provocative read. And I cant wait to get my hands on his other novels... I'm saving up to buy Sputnik Sweetheart and Norweigan Wood. (or perhaps Dean's golden heart could hear my wishes and buy me those two books..*wink wink* just kidding! uhmnn..pero I dont mind kung bilhin mo nga talaga.. ^___^)



Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas/ (Judas' Favorite Book) - SUPER ENTERTAINING. It makes you want to think, analyze and rationalize your faith and your beliefs. (hindi lang tungkol kay God ha. Pero sa marami pang bagay)

My friend Norie, bought this book a long time ago (PLM DAYS pa). And she was hooked with Bob Ong's work. She bought 2 more books (ABNKKBSNPLK and TIKAB DATKILAB..) I had no time kasi dati. So good timing yung bigay na book ni Deandean (thanks ulit.. graveeng PLUGGING na to ha)

I was laughing my head off when I was reading this. Man, this guy is really GOOD. Ang KULiiiiT!! nuknukan sa kuliiit.

just read some of the excerpts:

"na master ko na ang pagpatay sa ipis.. the best ang tsinelas o hindi kaya eh nilukot na dyaryo. huwag mashadong madiin dahil baka magtalsikan ang kanilang mga innerds! higit sa favorite color, zodiac sign,motto at sagot sa "What is Love?", gusto kong makilala ang isang tao base sa kung ano ang mga bagay na katawa-tawa para sa kanya.......Ngumingiti ba siya o humahalakhak? Dinig ba sa Africa ang tawa niya? Gaano niya kabilis makuha ang isang joke? Ilang minuto nagtatagal ang ang tawa niya? Pano siya tumawa: simpleng "hehe!", gumugulong sa sahig, tumatalbog, sinisinok, lumuluha, tumatalsik an gpustiso, nakikita ang esophagus, nangingitim at hindi makahinga, o nanginginig lang ang labi habang nakatitig sa kawalan?"


A great read indeed. 2 thumbs up!






Now... for the finale. Benjamin gave me this book (SURPRISE!!!) I was caught off guard because I really did not expect this from him. (though I have heard rumors that he is quite generous plus he BRAGS about him being ULTRA RICH.. nyahahaha). And to think na lagi kaming nag aasaran.. Hmnn.. Siguro nakonsensha about what happened dun sa Rob Place..hehe(nuninuninuninu.. next time ko i share dito.) Seriously, Benj is a good guy naman. Great Christian guy in fact. Laging nag iimpart ng "teachings" and "God's Word". (masusunog na yata ako...)

I haven't finished the book yet. Nasa first chapter pa lang ako. And currently working my way to breeze through the pages. Bigay ko na lang yung verdict shempre pag natapos ko na yung book. ^___^


uhmmnn.. I just want to thank Dean and Benj for the books. (plus ung cd na rin from benj.. graci monamu. I really liked it. )

Palusot..nuninuninuninuuu..

I was really excited to post something here in my Blog yesterday because I was in the "mood". In the mood to make something sensible to my poor ol Blogspot. I even searched for a neat picture to be posted along my article..

The post was not that bad at all (or so I thought), so indeed it made me happy just to finish a post. All is well and I clicked on the orange thingy with a sign of "Publish Post" hoping that the whole world could finally read my work, my blog.

But to my disappointment, the POST never came out. I checked on my site and the only thing that was posted there was the CUTE PICTURE I got. No sign of the article that I made. Buhuhuhuhu. I was really pissed off. I tried to think back on what I did wrong and up to now, still no clear answer.

The point is I was stupid not to know how to post a Post. And all the hardwork for that nerve wrecking first post was gone to waste.


... At least now, I have an excuse for writing such a horrible first post. hehehehe

Blame me. Bleh!...
